Despite being hospitalised and referred to a multispecialty hospital, Malkit Singh succumbed to his injuries, which were believed to be severe internal vital damage. The police have already apprehended five individuals, including a minor, allegedly involved in the brutal killing. The autopsy report for the case is pending. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party State President, MP Arun Sao said that killing of unarmed man depicts the utter lawlessness that prevails in the State. Expressing his condolences on this incident, Arun Sao said that 32-year-old youth Malkit Singh was murdered mercilessly and brutally.
