Ranjhi police have solved a blind murder mystery within some hours and apprehended a delinquent child. A 17-year-old boy killed the man with an axe following his illicit relation with his mother. Superintendent of Police, Tushar Kant Vidyarthi (IPS) disclosed this while addressing a press conference, on Sunday. He informed that acting on information of death of a man at Bada Patthar, Ranjhi police reached the spot where a man named Sandeep alias Lala Choudhary (32), a resident of Bada Patthar informed that he works as a private worker. He informed that a local Raj Bahadur Thakur (44) was found dead in his house who had sustained grave injury in his head. Investigating the case, police found blood marks on a wall and cover of furniture. In prima facie of the investigation, police learnt that the man was killed with sharp-edged weapon by unidentified person.
Ranjhi police registered a case under Section 302 of IPC while SP, T K Vidyarthi constituted a team under the supervision of CSP, Ranjhi, Vivek Kumar Gautam, FSL Officer Dr Neeta Jain, ASP (City North), Pradeep Kumar Shende for further investigation and apprehending the accused. Investigating the case, police team led by SHO, Neelesh Dohare learnt that two years ago deceased’s wife along with his children left him following domestic violence over illicit relation of deceased with another woman. Police held doubt on the teenage son of woman and learnt that her son was admitted at District Government Hospital. In the interrogation, the delinquent boy broke out and confessed the killing of Raj Bahadur Thakur with an axe following his illicit relation with his mother. The blind murder mystery was solved with active working of police team led by SHO, Neelesh Dohare comprising SI, Shailendra Singh, Rajendra Saini, Abha Dubey, ASI, Manoj Goswamy, Lekhmani Markam, Head Constables, Pradeep Tiwari, Bhojraj Yadav, Sunil Dubey, Constables, Manish Patel, Arpit and Rahul.
