ABVP agitates to press for demands, RTMNU V-C assures resolution by September 30

 

 

Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) Vice Chancellor Dr Subhash Chaudhari assured the delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) to sort out issues raised by its members by September 30.

On Monday, the members of ABVP were gathered at RTMNU’s Jamnalal Bajaj Bhavan premises. They entered V-C’s chamber and raised slogans. They pressed their various demands through this agitation. Considering the aggressive approach of ABVP, Dr Chaudhari called police to RTMNU premises, considering the possibility of any untoward incident.

 

After accepting the memorandum, Vice-Chancellor assured ABVP delegation that he would resolve the issues by September 30. In the issue of MSW marksheet, the correction will be made in the marksheet and new marksheet will be given. ABVP had also highlighted the issue of food quality at girls hostel. Dr Chaudhari assued to resolve it by September 30. ABVP had raised the issue of distribution of marksheets. Dr Chaudhari said that the marksheets are available on the university website. Because of mistakes committed by three departments, students suffered. Now those marksheets are being corrected. All the colleges have been asked to display the details of internal marks distribution, said Dr Chaudhari to the delegation.
