INTER National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) and London School of Trends (LST) organised the ‘Indian Fashion Trunk’ during New York Fashion Week (NYFW) for the 8th Season. The ascent of sustainable fabrics represents more than just a fashion trend; it is a movement that upholds cultural heritage, empowers local communities, and fosters sustainable livelihoods. Our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been at the forefront of promoting sustainability, first through the iconic ‘Khadi for Nation, Khadi for Fashion’ initiative, and now by introducing a groundbreaking and eco-friendly project focused on creating sustainable fabric from our revered national flower, the lotus stem. That was witnessed at the ‘New York Fashion Week’, world’s most prestigious fashion week.

 

Title ‘Radiance in Bloom’ is inspired by the gentle caress of sunlight and the vibrant hues of green plants, this dress embodies the harmony of nature’s embrace. Students of INIFD Nagpur were jubilant about their success at the most prestigious international platform New York Fashion Week and they celebrated it with full zeal and enthusiasm.
