Adani ICD Borkhedi moves 1st export rake, starts journey towards international trade

 

 

Adani ICD Borkhedi, Nagpur witnessed its first export movement of rake which marked a significant milestone in Adani Group’s history. It signifies the beginning of a journey towards international trade and global connectivity in central India. This event opens up opportunities for economic growth, job creation and technological management.

Currently Adani ICD Nagpur are providing EXIM and domestic services, warehouse facilities, first and last mile delivery with the help of best in class infrastructure and highly experienced manpower.

 

The inauguration of first export rake happened on Thursday with the support of Cordelia Container shipping line, Speedways Logistics, Puthran Logistics and Aakash Industries in the presence of Assistant Commissioner, Custom Anil Goswami and other senior officers of the department. The inaugural shipment embodies the spirit of exploration and enterprise that drives Adani Group’s core values of nation building.

 

Located at a distance of about 2 km from the existing Inland Container Depot (ICD) of Distribution Logistics Infrastructure Private Limited (DLI) at Borkhedi, the new ICD is close to the CONCOR’s Multi Modal Logistic Park at MIHAN. The new ICD, part of the Adani Group, is spread over a 75 acre area at Borkhedi and most of the required infrastructure, storage facilities and equipment to handle containers have been created.
