CITY’S rising tennis player Sejal Bhutada once again displayed outstanding performance as she won the singles title in All India Women’s Tennis Tournament held at Jhajjar, Haryana on Friday. In the final, she defeated Kashish Bhatia of Delhi 6-4, 6-4 to claim the title. Earlier in semis, Sejal got the better of Samaira Malik also from Delhi 2-6, 6-2, 6-4. In the quarters, she recorded an exciting 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) victory over Sahira Singh.
Sejal is a Standard 10 student at Engineers English School, Kukade Layout. Nagpur District Hardcourt Tennis Association officials congratulated Sejal for her success. She attributes the credit of her success to her parents.
