AQUATIC Association of Nagpur (AAN) recently felicitated ace swimmer of city Rituja Talegaonkar for winning the Shiv Chhatrapati award from State Government. The felicitation programme was held at Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) Swimming Pool. In the felicitation ceremony, along with Rutuja, her father Bhimashankar and mother Mukta were also felicitated. Similarly, Sanjay Batwe, the first swimming coach of Rutuja who hunt swimming talent in her and trained her, was also feted.

 

Coaches including Anil Pande, President of Aquatic Association Nagpur, Sandeep Khobragade, Roshan Choudhary, Nitin Malwade, Treasures and other swere present. Hundreds of swimmers and parents, more than 25 swimming coaches from Nagpur district were present during the programme. Thanking AAN, Rutuja said that the club has played a very big role in her success. The programme was organised by Vilas Solanki, Mansi Nishant Raut, Namrata Patel, Pravin Rohad, Khushal Balbudhe, Manil Rajak, Mukesh Balbudhe and Ambika.
