PLAYWELL were back at the top winning the duplicate bridge title on Sunday organised by Vidarbha Bridge Association in their sports complex in Shankar Nagar. In 42 deals contest played across 7 rounds of 6 boards each, Playwell who enjoy the reputation of having emerged champions in many duplicate events in Vidarbha region, succeeded once again with a sizzling victory by scoring 81.83 VP. Their team consisted of father and son duo of Raja and Amit Rewatkar, Kumra brothers Neeraj and Sanjeev and Anil Mohota.
Samadhan finished runners-up with a tally of 68.37 VP. Their performance came from efforts put on by SK Patni, S Watwe, MI Hararwala, S Khanzode and Vivek Patki. In MP pairs event played on Saturday, Hastak and Kenekar duo emerged victorious. Madne and Shrivastava walk away with second position. Amit Rewatkar was tournament director for this brain game.
