Member of Parliament Rakesh Singh said the BJP Government has always given priority to women empowerment in its objectives. He said whenever people talk about women empowerment in the country, they first remember Modi Government followed by the BJP Government in Madhya Pradesh. MP Rakesh Singh was addressing a press conference on conclusion of Jan Ashirwad Yatra and organisation of Karyakarta Mahakumbh to be held in Bhopal on September 25 (Monday).MP Singh further stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created history by passing Nari Shakti Vandan Bill from both the Houses. After being pending for 27 years, unanimous passage of this legislation in Rajya Sabha demonstrates that the Opposition also appreciates policies of Modi Government. He said this meaningful step by BJP Government ensures participation of women in nation’s development.
 
He also extended gratitude to the Prime Minister for ensuring 33 per cent reservation for women in Lok Sabha and State assemblies. MP Singh said 10,643-km-long Jan Ashirwad Yatra, commenced on September 3 from Chitrakoot was successful and meaningful. He stated that during this journey, party leaders and workers reached 210 legislative constituencies in 51 districts of the State and directly interacted with more than 25 lakh voters. MP Rakesh Singh said after the Yatra, there is no doubt left among opponents that the victory of BJP is certain on 150 out of 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh. He said the 8-km-long largest flyover of the State, costs around Rs 1000 crore is being constructed in Jabalpur. Construction work of a section of this flyover from Gulati Petrol Pump to Chhoti Line Crossing, which costs nearly Rs 150 crore has been completed and its inauguration will be held soon. MP Singh also informed that on September 25 on the occasion of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s birth anniversary ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’, a grand gathering of party workers will be held at Bhopal’s Jamboori Maidan. In the Mahakumbh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will provide the mantra of victory to nearly 10 lakh BJP workers for ensuring Assembly elections.
