FENCERS of Heritage International School, Gorewada won several medals in the District Sports Office organised Under-17 inter-school fencing competition. The meet was held at the indoor stadium of Divisional Sports Complex in Mankapur. Juveriya Ali won gold medal in Sabre category while Sarah Ahmed and Nubaisha Fatema won silver medals in Epee and Sabre.

 

The bronze medal winners were Aliahba Saudagar, Alveena Ali and Mahwash Arjuman in Foil and Sabre categories.

The students will now be participating in divisional-level tournament to be held at Gondia where fencers from across the State would be competing. Director of School Altamash Zeeshan congratulated the students, coach Tanmay Savarkar and Principal Lubna Rashid.
