Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bilaspur on September 30 to mark the conclusion of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) ‘Parivartan Rally.’ The rally, which commenced in Jashpur and Dantewada, will culminate in Bilaspur, according to Chhattisgarh BJP In-charge Om Prakash Mathur. Mathur, speaking to the media at the party office, shared details of the preparations and expectations for this significant event. Mathur emphasised the importance of this event and the role of all assembly constituency workers and party officials in ensuring its historic success. The Prime Minister’s public meeting is scheduled to take place at the Government Science College ground, and it is anticipated to be one of the biggest rallies.
 
Addressing a recent controversy involving a BJP Member of Parliament using derogatory language against a parliamentarian from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in the Parliament, Mathur stressed the need for public representatives to maintain the dignity of their words. He noted that the party has taken the matter into consideration.
Regarding the selection of candidates for the upcoming elections, Mathur stated that the party will field candidates with a high probability of winning. While the list of candidates was ready, it awaited approval from the election committee before being officially announced.
 
Mathur assured that there would be no changes to the 21 candidates previously announced by the party Mathur expressed confidence that the BJP would secure a full majority in the upcoming assembly elections and form the government in Chhattisgarh. Senior party leaders including BJP State Deputy In-charge Nitin Nabin, former State President Dharamlal Kaushik, former ministers Punnu Lal Mohley and AmarAgrawal, state BJP Vice President Bhupendra Savanni, District President Ramdev Kumawat besides other party leaders were present during the press briefing
