UNION Home Minister Amit Shah accompanied by BJP National President J P Nadda arrived in Raipur on Thursday. BJP State President Arun Sao and other senior leaders greeted the Home Minister and BJP National President at the Airport. The programme of the National President’s visit to Chhattisgarh was made suddenly, earlier only the visit of Home Minister Amit Shah was scheduled. It is being told that J P Nadda’s visit is in view of the preparation for the Assembly elections.
 
State BJP In-charge Om Mathur and Co-election In-charge Dr Mansukh Mandaviya reached Raipur from Delhi on Thursday to attend the meeting of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Both the leaders left directly from the airport for the party office Kushabhau Thackeray complex. Apart from Home Minister Shah and BJP President Nadda, National Organisation General Secretary B L Santosh has also come to Raipur. It’s noteworthy that there will be a brainstorming session in the BJP office regarding the election strategy. For the remaining seats, there will be a discussion on the candidate selection and the election strategy.
 
Along with this, there will be discussion regarding the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Chhattisgarh on September 30 and October 3. It is likely that the after the discussion with Home Minister Amit Shah and other top leaders of the party the second list of BJP candidates for the Assembly elections will be finalised, about 21 names are said to be included in the second list. During his stay in Chhattisgarh, Amit Shah met party leaders and strategising for the election. Later, he left for Delhi at around 8 pm.
