SHOCK waves prevailed in Chhollywood when actor Anupam Bhargava (38) was killed, while his wife Nikita Jaiswal suffered grave injuries in a road accident on the Bilaspur-Raipur National Highway No 130 on Thursday night. Nikita has been admitted in the hospital where her condition is serious. The couple was returning back home from Raipur at around 9 pm when a speeding trailer knocked their car near village Kirna in Sargaon area. The collision was so severe that the car went out of control and rolled down the highway. After the accident both the actor and his wife got trapped inside the car.

 

When nearby people and passers-by saw this, they informed Sargaon Police that rushed to the spot immediately and rescued the injured actor and his wife and wheeled them to Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) where the doctors pronounced Anupam Bhargava brought dead and after administering primary treatment referred his wife Nikita Jaiswal to Apollo Hospitals where her condition is critical according to the doctors. Anupam Bhargava, resident of Surya Vihar Colony in Sarkanda was a superstar of Chhattisgarhi films. He was a comedian, romantic star and action hero in Chollywood film industry. Initially, he did humorous satire in local news and cable channels. In 2008, he became Radio Jockey (RJ) in FM Radio. In 2016, he debuted in film career with ‘Teen Than Bhokwa’ which was a hit. It’s sequel ‘Teen Than Bhokva Returns’ was also a hit.

 

Anupam had acted in many hit films like ‘Ticket to Hollywood’, ‘Humar Family Number One’, ‘Mission Chhattisgarh’, ‘Rajni’, ‘Jimmy Kaanda’, ‘Khaanti Mitan and ‘Krishna Anuj’, but he got a new identity from ‘Jimmy Kaanda’. Anupam also directed many films including ‘Jimmy Kaanda’. The news of his death prevailed shock wave among his fans. Anupam was the only child of his parents who are still in shock after the incident.
