Centre, State govts committed to serving every poor, people in need: MLA Rohani

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has launched two pioneering schemes including Deendayal Rasoi Yojana and distribution of land pattas to homeless people across the State. In this connection, the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) organised a programme at the cultural centre near Bhawartal. MLA Ashok Rohani was the chief guest of the function. Expressing his views on the occasion, Rohani stated that both the Central and State Governments are committed to serving every poor and people in need. He said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has started these schemes across the state. In the sequence, the launch of these two schemes has also taken place in the city.
 
Under Deendayal Rasoi Yojana, poor people will now receive a wholesome meal for just Rs 5. Likewise, land pattas have been distributed to homeless people, bringing them a step closer to realising the dream of having a home of their own. Expressing his views on the occasion, Chairman, JMC Rinku Vij shed light on the welfare schemes being carried out by the State Government. Other public representatives also spoke at length about the steps being taken by the government for the people of all sections of the society. They said the BJP Government is vowed to provide all needed amenities to the residents of Madhya Pradesh.
 
They said the government is continuously launching schemes to benefit poor, farmers, laborers, women, girl child, elderly people, tribals, street vendors and people of all walks of life. It is making people self-reliant and added to the on-going development of the State. Also present on the occasion were Municipal Commissioner, Swapnil Wankhade, Additional Commissioner R P Mishra, Deputy Commissioner Manoj Shrivastava and others.
