The city police have found a key witness in the Sana Khan murder case who claims to have seen the dead body of Sana Khan in the house of prime accused Amit alias Pappu Sahu in Jabalpur on August 2. Commissioner of Police (CP) Amitesh Kumar said that the key witness was found during the special team visit at Jabalpur. The team was led by DCP Detection Mummaka Sudarshan and DCP Zone II Rahul Madne. Similarly, the police claim to have found two more witnesses who heard an altercation between Sana Khan and her husband-turned-foe Pappu Sahu at the latter’s house. Another forensic evidence that could make a strong case against the culprits is the recovery of soaked blood stains from the sofa in Sahu’s residence, CP Kumar said.

The top cop also said that gathering of key evidences and witnesses would be helpful for the investigators to prove the murder charges against the culprits in the court. “As of now, we have four key witnesses in the case and the chain of digital and forensic evidence also are potential chain of evidences,” he said. Presently, the prime accused Pappu Sahu, Ramesh Singh, Dharmendra Yadav, Rabbu Chacha alias Ravinshankar Yadav, and Kamlesh Patel, remain in police custody as the investigation continues. However, the accused are yet to spill beans about the exact location of Sana’s dead body who was murdered by Pappu Sahu on August 2 in Jabalpur.
