District Admn fetes 111 teachers on Teachers’ Day

Chief Executive Officer, Jila Panchayat, Jayati Singh mentioned teachers as Sculpturist of Country’s future who mould the students and transform them into best citizens of the nation. In this era of nuclear families, teachers’ responsibility increases manifold. As the students become techno-friendly, teachers need to be skilled about advanced technologies and gazettes. CEO Singh was addressing felicitation ceremony organised by District Administration to honour teachers who along with fulfilling their academic responsibilities, offered remarkable contribution in the Electoral awareness activities. Saluting the teachers for their dedication, honesty and sincerity to create electoral literacy among the college-going students who are the future voters so that they can contribute to strengthen democracy in the largest democratic country in the world, the District Administration honoured 111 dedicated teachers during a grand programme held at Sanskriti Bhavan on Teachers’ Day.

The felicitation ceremony was organised under the banner of SVEEP, Jabalpur and District Election Office with the co-ordination of Bharat Vikas Parishad Mahakoshal Prant Jabalpur, Maharishi Jabali Shakha. The programme initiated with Saraswati Vandana and floral tribute offered to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The College Principals, ELC Nodal Officers, students and other intellects who tirelessly contribute in creating awareness about election list, Second Summery Revision Prorgamme, creating Voter ID cards for new voters, filling forms for corrections in the entries registered in voter’s list, motivating every voter to cast vote to increase voting percentage, SVEEP and ELC activities under Electoral Awareness and Literacy, were honoured for their outstanding works.

Dr Neelesh Pandey, Prant Adhyaksh, Dr Satosh Jatav, Additional Director, Higher Education, Dr R K Swarnkar, Additional Director, School Education, Jabalpur divition, Dr D K Khare, Assistant Director, DEO, Ghanshyam Soni and Principal, Jabalpur Engineering College, P K Jhinge and others were present on the dais. The event was conducted by District Co-ordinator, SVEEP, Pramod Shrivastava with the support of members Dr Ajay Gupta, Basant Sharma, Bhartiya Soni, Dr Shubham Jain, and others.
