THE Department of Sports and Physical Education of Shri Binzani City College, Umrer Road, felicitated sportspersons on the occasion of National Sports Day. Vice-Principal Dr Sandeep Tundurwar presided over the function. Dr Piyush Ambulkar, Sports Officer, Sports and Cultural Department, NMC, was the chief guest while Anup Deshmukh, International Master was the guest of honour. Dr Sanjay Choudhari, HoD (Sports), made the introductory remark.

 

Dr Rajesh Alone and Dr Sambhaji Bhonsle of Shri Mohota Science College were also present on the occasion. Vaibhav Shrirame was felicitated for securing three Gold, two silver and two bronze medals in National Games at Ahmedabad. Along with him, students showing outstanding sports acumen were also felicitated at the hands of the guests. The programme was conducted by Kalpana Mishra. Members of Sports Committee Sunita Masne and Rajesh Khadke worked hard for the programme.
