DELHI Public School, Lava boys and K John Public School girls emerged champions of the Under-14 Rural Basketball Tournament organised by District Sports Office at Nutan Bharat Yuvak Sangh courts. In the boys final, DPS pipped Army Public School 15-12 in a close encounter. The quarterwise score was 3-6, 3-0, 4-4, 5-2. Varad Gautam was the top scorer for DPS scoring all the points. For Army Public School, Sangam scored seven points. In the girls category, K John Public School rode on Devanshi Madne’s five points to beat Mount Litera 9-2. Mrunali Dandekar scored two points for the losing side. The quarterwise score was 3-0, 5-2, 0-0, 1-0. Founder Secretary of Nagpur District Basketball Association (NDBA) Sanjay Panse was chief guest for the final matches.

(3-4, 7-5, 7-4, 6-0). Army Public School (Gaurav Singh 2) bt Jain International School (Yash Jaggi 2) 5-3 (2-0, 1-0, 0-3, 2-0).

 

Girls: Mount Litera (Jyoti Singh 6) bt Central India Public School (Mahi Meshram 2) 8-2 (0-0, 0-0, 2-2, 6-0); K John High School (Sharyu Salve 4) bt The Achievers School (Shriya Bode 5) 8-6 (0-2, 3-2, 3-0, 2-2).
