A 27-year-old youth was found hanging from a tree near VIP road, said police. The deceased Dipak Kushwaha was a resident of Khanugaon. His body was found at a distance of two kilometres from his home on Wednesday. The incident appears to be a suicide but police are probing it from all angles as Kushwaha had left home on his bike which was found parked at another location. Police said that he had recently for engaged but for unknown reasons the engagement was called off that had likely pushed the youth into depression. Sub Inspector Bana Singh Pawar said that Kushwaha was a class four employee of the Vallabh Bhawan.
He left home around 9 am for his workplace, he said. However, around 11 am his family members received a call from his colleagues who informed that Dipak had not reached the office. They started a search for the youth, said the SI. SI Pawar added that his brother Chandramohan heard a news of a body found hanging near selfie point in the evening after which he reached the scene. Chandramohan identified the body and informed the family members about it. The family members rushed to the scene while the local police were also informed. His body was sent for post-mortem and a case was registered with the police. The Kohefiza Police said that the keys of the bike were missing. The bike was parked near a police outpost in BDS colony in the evening. The cops did not find any suicide note from the scene.
