Ace shutters of SM Group, Rutva Sajwan and Ameya Naktode, have been selected to represent Maharashtra in the Yonex Sunrise Sub-Junior National Badminton Championships (U-15 and U-17). The tournament is going to be held at Hyderabad from September 14 to 19.

 

Ameya Naktode, aged 15 years, finished runners-up in Under-17 boys singles at Pune and Ahmednagar State selection tournament. Thirteen-year-old Sajwan emerged winner in Under-15 boys doubles at Pune and Ahmednagar and while in Under-15 singles he was runner-up at Ahmednagar State selection trials. Sajwan will play in U-15 boys singles and doubles while Naktode wll play in U-17 singles. Both are trained by Suresh Menon.
