AS DEVOTEES’ count down to the opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya onJanuary22,the world’slargest lock, weighing 400 kg, and1,265 kg of laddu Prasadreached Ayodhya on Saturday. Both are offerings to the temple. While the lock is fromAligarh, the ladus are from Hyderabad. But what is incommon between the two isthe devotion of the people associated with them to Lord Ram.

 

The laddu prasad was made by Sri Ram Catering Services in Hyderabad. Naga bhushanam Reddy, the owner of the catering services, talked about the laddu prasad and the story behind it ashe reached here. The silver ‘padukas’ that will be kept in the temple, made of one kg gold and seven kg silver,have been crafted by Shrichalla Shrini was of  Hyderabad.
