In the sacred town of Sheorinarayan, the land associated with Mata Shabari, Shri Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha Ramotsav was celebrated with great fervour. The atmosphere resonated with the melodious tunes of Ramayan troupes performing ‘Manas Bhajan Kirtan’. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai graced the holy Sheorinarayan Dham on the auspicious occasion of the Shri Ram Lalla Pran Pratisthan programme, drawing parallels to Mata Shabari’s patience and devotion. In his address to the gathering, Chief Minister Sai emphasised the historical significance of the moment, expressing gratitude for witnessing the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mention of Mata Shabari in his address resonated with the citizens of Sheorinarayan and the Chief Minister highlighted the profound impact of this acknowledgement. He underlined the importance of walking on the ideals of Lord Rama for the development of Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Sai also stated it’s a great joy that Chhattisgarh is the birthplace of Mata Kaushalya. He had also announced dispatching a team of dedicated doctors for the service of Rama devotees and another group to run a community kitchen in Ayodhya for 60 days. During the event, Chief Minister Sai inaugurated a coffee table book titled ‘Ham Sabke Ram’ and a calendar named ‘Ramo Vigrahavan Dharmah,’ created by the Information Department. These collections are based on stories during Lord Rama’s exile from Ayodhya to Chhattisgarh. Addressing the gathering, Om Mathur stated the victory cry of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ should reach Ayodhya. He extended congratulations to everyone present at this sacred event organised on the land of Mata Shabari. It is our good fortune that after 500 years of sacrifice, we have reaped the fruit today. Our society has remained egalitarian. Lord Rama never discriminated against people. He accepted the hospitality of the forest dwellers.

Mata Shabari, a symbol of unwavering devotion, patiently waited for years, and similarly, the people of Shri Ram’s maternal family and the residents of Chhattisgarh have been eagerly awaiting this moment for years. With the consecration of Shri Ram, the people of the State are experiencing profound joy. The devotion of Mata Shabari, who fed berries to Shri Ram, is mirrored in the deep love of the people of Chhattisgarh for their nephew Shri Ram. Sheorinarayan, where Mata Shabari’s devotion unfolded, is filled with joy at the auspicious moment of Shri Ramlalla’s consecration in Ayodhya. In Treta Yuga, Mata Shabari offered berries to Shri Ram in this sacred land, and today, the land of Sheorinarayan stands equally beautiful. Thousands of people from Sheorinarayan gathered to witness this historic moment, and the atmosphere was filled with the sound of conch shells and the chanting of Jai Jai Shri Ram. The people, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, BJP Chhattisgarh In-charge Om Mathur, Mahant Rajeshree Ramsundar Das, and other dignitaries were overwhelmed with devotion as they witnessed the physical form of Lord Shri Ram.
