The much and long-awaited milestone Tech and Digi expo event COMP-EX’ 2024 opens on Thursday for a four-day IT extravaganza that promises to captivate the technology enthusiasts and promises to unfold the latest advancements in the IT world. IT enthusiasts from across Nagpur city can visit the expo and check out the various products and services ranging from the latest laptops and desktops, both new as well as refurbished to suit every pocket, printing solution, accessories, AI, IoT and VR, cyber security, security and surveillance devices, CCTV solutions, interactive panels and an array of need-based domestic and commercial range of IT products. The special attraction to look forward to at this 30th edition of COMP-EX’ 2024, the first time ever, there is free repair services of desktops and laptops during the expo, under the aegis of Vidarbha Computer and Media Dealer’s Welfare Association (VCMDWA) Assured Partner initiative and part of its CSR activity.

 

The services encompass hardware upgradation, laptop, desktop, printer, monitor/display repairing along with networking consultancy, data protection, configuration suggestion, tune-up and virus removal etc. Experts from Tally will guide the visitors and solve their issues related to Tally customisation, migration and upgradation during this free service camp. To avail this service, interested people have to pre-register on www.vcmdwa.org or through the QR code available on COMP-EX’2024 social media pages. Budding entrepreneurs interested to set up their own units can avail the guidance and services offered by the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) which has authorised COMP-EX’ 2024 under its Procurement and Marketing Scheme (PMS). Registered MSME units can now avail subsidies ranging from 80-100 per cent on stall charges. Government of Maharashtra and Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation have been synonym and an integral part of COMP-EX’ since past several editions.

 

Taking off from January 25, 2024, at Reshimbagh ground, the 4 days event will conclude on January 28, 2024. Daily timings for visitors at COMP-EX’ 2024 would be from 12 noon to 9 pm. Due to Republic Day holiday, more and more people can visit the expo and get first-hand information on products of their choice and needs.
