Conceptualised by visionary leader Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, Vidarbha’s mega industrial expo and business investment conclave ‘Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav – Advantage Vidarbha’ will be inaugurated in a grand event on January 27, 2024 at Jamnalal Bajaj Administrative Building premises of RTM Nagpur University, Amravati Road at 11 am. The inaugural ceremony will be presided over by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Deputy Chief Minister of Maharshtra, Devendra Fadnavis will be the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony while MSME Minister, GoI, Narayan Rane, Minister of Forest Sudhir Mungantiwar, Minister of State Defense, GoI, Ajay Bhatt and Minister of Industries Uday Samant will be present as prominent guests.

 

MP Rajya Sabha Praful Patel, MP Rajya Sabha Anil Bonde, MP Ramdas Tadas, MP Krupal Tumane, MP Prataprao Jadhav, MP Ashok Nete, MP Sanjay Dhote, MP Bhawan Gawli, MP Navneet Rana, MP Sunil Mendhe, MLC Chandrashekhar Bawankule, MLC, Ramdas Ambatkar, MLC Pravin Datke, MLA Krushna Khopde, MLA Mohan Mate, MLA Vikas Kumbhare, MLA Vikas Thakre, Secretary Industry Deptt, GoM Dr Harshdeep Kamble; VC-RTMNU Dr Subhash Chowdhary, Director IIM Nagpur Dr Bhimraya Metri, Commissioner NMC Dr Abhijeet Chowdhary and Collector of Nagpur Dr Vipin Itankar will be guests of honour. In this three day event, there will be panel discussions, sector-wise sessions, B2B, B2C interactions.

 

The Mahotsav will honour all the ‘Jewels of Vidarbha’ who have started their industries in the soil of Vidarbha, created huge employment and contributed significantly to the economic development of Vidarbha. A coffee table book of their success stories will be published and a separate dome has been created to showcase their products.
