Ratanpur Police have registered a case against the Head Master of Government Primary School of Mohatarai village for causing religious conversions and administering oath to the children and villagers not to worship or believe in Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva and other Hindu deities. Police have taken the accused into custody. On January 22, during the consecration of Lord Rama in Ayodhya the accused Head Master Ratanlal Sarovar gathered school children and villagers at village Mohatarai and administered them oath not to worship or believe in Hindu deities. Instantly after the video went viral on social media, District Convener of Bajrang Dal, Rupesh Shukla registered a complaint with Ratanpur Police and demanded legal action against him.
On the basis of the complaint, Ratanpur Police registered a case against Head Master Ratanlal Sarovar under sections 153-A, 295-A of Indian Penal Code and started investigations. After receiving information about the viral video of Head Master Ratanlal Sarovar administering oath to the children and villagers on not worshipping or believing in Hindu deities, the Education Department suspended Ratanlal Sarovar and ordered an enquiry against him. During investigation, it was confirmed that the oath was administered by Head Master of Government Primary School, Mohatarai, Ratanlal Sarovar. After the investigation reports District Education Officer (DEO) T R Sahu immediately suspended the principal and ordered an enquiry against him. Chairman of Belha District Panchayat Vikram Singh said that the primary school Head Master has commented on Hindu religion and Hindu deities. He told that complaints were received about inciting children and villagers against religion. He said that the accused has been suspended and the matter is being investigated.
District Education Officer T R Sahu said that they came to know through social media about Principal Ratanlal Sarovar getting indulged in religious conversion and students being administered oath not to worship Hindu deities. “Such acts are against service rules. A departmental inquiry will be conducted into it. Also, Principal Ratanlal Sarovar has been suspended,” he told. Ratanpur Station House Officer (SHO) Devesh Rahore said that a video related to not believing in Hindu deities went viral on social media. On the basis of complaint, a crime has been registered and the matter is being investigated. The accused has been taken into custody, he added.
