In another IAS reshuffle on Friday, Bhopal Collector Ashish Singh was transferred as Indore Collector, replacing Illayaraj T. In his place Kaushlendra Vikram Singh took over as the new Bhopal Collector. Earlier, he was the Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, Bhopal. Nine months before this, he was made Bhopal Collector. But, within 24 hours of the order being issued, he was appointed as MD of the Tourism Corporation. Illayaraja T has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Tourism Development Corporation, taking over from the current Indore Collector.
 
Meanwhile, Indore’s new Collector Ashish Singh has previously worked as Dewas and Ujjain Collector and Indore and Ujjain Municipal Corporation Commissioner. It was during his tenure that Indore came number one in the cleanliness survey in the country. After assuming charge, Kaushlendra Vikram Singh was introduced to the officers in the Collectorate conference room.
