Destination IT Nagpur Meet 2023 concluded at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology (SVPCET), Nagpur recently where 140 delegates from IT industry brainstormed over development of IT sector in Vidarbha. Sameer Bendre, Chief of Operations, Persistent Systems, said that Vidarbha has not only geographic locational advantage but also trained professionals for IT sector and that’s why IT companies have chosen to operate from Nagpur. Fr. Dr Paul Chandrankunnel, Director, SVPCET highlighted the importance of industry connect for the academia.

 

A panel discussion on topic ‘Nagpur’s special opportunities and challenges for IT professionals’ was held under the moderation of Vedanti Souche, SAP consultant, Tech Mahindra. The panel included Abhay Chaudhary, Vice President - Product Engineering, Location Guru Solutions and Dhiraj Motghare, Director of Engineering, Global Logic.
