Chhattisgarh-UP-Bihar Rail Yatri Seva Sangh has once again raised the demand to run Nautanwa Durg Express daily.
The committee said that in view of the problems of the people for the last 15 years, the Sangh has been continuously making this demand and hopes that the Central Government will understand this need and approve their demand. Convenor of the union, Haji MH Siddiqui said that their demand has been to make Nautanwa Durg Express daily and also to change its timing to leave from Durg for Nautanwa between 7:00 am to 10:00 am. There is a need to raise this age-old demand afresh because a grand Ram temple is being built in Ayodhya. This train will be convenient for the people who will go there for darshan. If this train leaves Durg in the morning, then they will easily reach there. With this we can reach Gorakhpur and Ayodhya early in the morning. This train will make this journey very accessible to the people.

This will be very convenient for all the devotees going to visit the grand temple in Ayodhya. He told that from the beginning the union had demanded to give stoppage of this train at Salempur and Bhilai Power House stations, but after 15 years, accepting this demand half-heartedly, its stoppage was given only at Salempur but not at Power House. He informed that along with this, a demand has been being made regarding Gondia Barauni train that it should be run at least 3 days a week via Mau, Bhatni, Siwan and Chhapra. He expressed hope that the railway administration will fulfill this demand as soon as possible keeping in mind the convenience of lakhs of passengers.
