Dr Sanjay Mishra, Regional Director Health Services, Jabalpur Division and Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), Jabalpur District has been selected from Madhya Pradesh in the Core Committee, formed by the Government of India at the national level in collaboration with the National Health Systems Resource Center, New Delhi, to take decisions related to the establishment of the Integrated Lab.
Representatives have been selected from 17 states in this core committee. There will be one representative from each state. From Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Sanjay Mishra, Regional Director Health Services, has been selected. The Core Committee’s meeting will be held in New Delhi on October 10 and 11, 2024.
It may be mentioned that the infrastructure of Integrated Public Health Laboratory is being developed under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Infrastructure Mission by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.
The main feature of the Integrated Laboratory is that
all types of tests should be done under one roof so that the human resources can be properly utilized and the quality of work can be improved. Increasing the number of tests, improving their reporting and doing more tests in less time, certifying the working capacity of machines on time. This will mainly helpful in the treatment of patients and ensure public convenience.
The Government of India has formed a core committee at the national level in collaboration with the National Health Systems Resource Center, New Delhi, which will be independent to take decisions related to the establishment of the Integrated Lab.
