DR RANJANA Sharan Sinha, an eminent poet, author and retired Professor of English (S.B. City College, Nagpur) received Sahityaratna Samman for her Hindi Poetry Collection ‘Ek Sita Main Bhi’. It was conferred on her by Awadh Sahitya Akademi, Prayagraj. Dr Sharan is a bilingual poet and is a well-known voice in Indian Poetry in English with international recognition. She has received a number of awards for her contribution to literature at national as well as international levels.
