Regional Office of Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) Jabalpur redressed total 97 cases during ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ camps across 16 districts, on Monday. During the camp, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner Rakesh Sahrawat addressed members' grievances related to provident funds and pensions. During the hearings, a complaint was raised by the dependents of a deceased member, stating that the member's death claim was pending with the regional office in Allahabad due to technical issues. Taking this complaint seriously, Sahrawat directed Regional Commissioner, Ashish Kumar to contact the Allahabad office immediately for detailed information and to expedite the resolution of the matter. In another case, a complainant reported that they had previously been issued a pension scheme certificate.

However, due to the mandatory requirement of an Aadhaar card in subsequent years, discrepancies arose between the pension scheme certificate and the Aadhaar data, preventing the allocation of a Universal Account Number (UAN). Acknowledging the validity of the documents presented by the member, Regional PF Commissioner, Sahrawat instructed the concerned officials to ensure necessary corrections in the member's profile as per the SOP. Rakesh Sahrawat also mentioned that under the "Prayas" scheme, Pension Payment Orders (PPOs) were distributed during the camps held in various districts. He reported that a total of 97 complaints were resolved during the "Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0" camp. Regional EPFO Commissioner, Sahrawat urged provident fund members, pensioners and employers to present their issues at nearby camps instead of travelling to the Jabalpur office. During the camp, Ashish Kumar, Regional Commissioner, Dhirendra Naidu, Assistant Director and Rajdeep Rajput, an official from the Employees' State Insurance Corporation were present.
