Union Home Minister at campaign meeting in Buldhana’s Malkapur assures to hike aid to farmers to Rs 15,000, MSP difference if BJP is voted to power in Maharashtra
“The Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) is only misleading the voters without any ambition for development of the State. In the ten years from 2004 to 2014, the Congress-led Government at Centre gave only Rs 1,51,000 crore to Maharashtra. As against this, from 2014 to 2024, the Narendra Modi Government gave Rs 10,15,890 crore to the State,” said Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Shah was addressing a poll campaign meeting at Buldhana’s Malkapur on Sunday. It was a joint meeting for Raver, Khamgaon and Jalgaon Jamod Assembly constituencies.
Shah further promised that the aid of Rs 12,000 that farmers are getting annually at present will be hiked to Rs 15,000 if BJP is voted back to power in Maharashtra.
The Union Minister also said, the State Government will pay the differential amount if farmers get a price less than that of MSP for their crops on various agricultural produce.

“Oldage Pension honorarium will be increased from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,100, 25 lakh jobs will be given to youth. 10 lakh educated students will be given Rs 10,000 to start their business. Apart from this, the State Government announced to increase the Ladki Bahin Yojana incentive from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,100,” Shah said.
Shah reminded the audience that Union Government had fulfilled the promises made by removing Article 370 in Kashmir. But the Congress and National Conference now want to bring back Article 370, he remarked.
Shah also brought up the construction of Lord Ram Temple, in Ayodhya during his speech.
“The Congress had laid the foundation for ending reservation of OBCs and tribals and giving reservation to Muslims. But as long as there are BJP MLAs and MPs in this country, reservation of dalits, OBCs and ati dalits cannot be disturbed,” he said. When Modi Government came to power in 2014, 27 percent reservation was given to backward community, the home Minister said.
“Today is Shiv Pratap Day. On this day, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had killed Afzal Khan and shocked Bijapur.
We follow his path and would defeat the Mahavikas Aghadi eliminated Afzal Khan,” he said.
