The roads were decorated with colorful flags and garlands of balloons, saffron strips, welcome arches, cutouts and rangolis to welcome the campaign rally taken out by Deputy Chief Minister and BJP candidate for Assembly polls of Nagpur South-West Devendra Fadnavis. At many places, women stood in rows with garlands, flowers and plates of praise. The huge crowd gathered on both sides was showering flowers on ‘Devabhau’ as well as the rally workers. Colourful flags were being flown through paper blower machines. Flowers were showered through JCBs too. Overwhelmed by the unprecedented welcome from the people, Fadnavis was greeting and thanking the people. As the campaign for the Assembly elections entered its final phase, Devendra Fadnavis made a tremendous show of strength through a campaign rally on Sunday.

 

Due to this show of strength, the entire area including Jaitala and the surrounding areas became BJP-friendly. The campaign chariot in the rally had leaders including Devendra Fadnavis, Amruta Fadnavis, People’s Republican Party Founder and President Prof Jogendra Kawade, former Mayor Nanda Jichkar, Maharashtra Pradesh Vice-President Yuva Morcha Parendra Patle. A large number of BJP and People’s Republican Party workers participated in the campaign rally with vehicles in front and behind this campaign chariot. The rally started from Ekatmata Nagar. Earlier, a large number of workers had gathered there for the rally.

 

As soon as Fadnavis arrived, the local citizens gave a warm welcome to Fadnavis. After visiting the local Sheetala Mata Mandir, Fadnavis participated in the rally. Fireworks were also set off. After this, the citizens in the settlements of Jaitala welcomed the campaign rally with great enthusiasm. Placards thanking Fadnavis for the development work done in their respective settlements were shining in the hands of citizens. People were shouting slogans in support of him and giving Fadnavis confidence of a huge victory. Citizens gave response to the campaign rally in places like Date Layout, Zade Layout, Prasad Nagar, Anand Nagar, Indraprastha Nagar, Pannase Layout, Manish Layout, Sonegaon Lake area, HB Estate, Sahakar Nagar, Jaiprakash Nagar, Tapovan, Rahul Nagar, Somalwada, Ujjwal Nagar. Former Mayor Sandeep Joshi, Maharashtra State Vice-President Sanjay Bhende, Rajiv Hadap, former Corporator Meenakshi Telgote, Pallavi Shyamkule, Vanita Dandekar, Election Chief Prakash Bhoyar, South West President Ritesh Gawande, Vijay Raut, Ishwar Dhengale, Yuva Morcha President Nagesh Satravane, Chhotu Borikar, Kishore Wankhede, as well as Varsha Chaudhary, Pramod Vyas were participating in the campaign rally and managing it. Due to this loud bike rally, the discussion of BJP’s show of power was going on in the entire Jaitala area and the surrounding areas.
