Jamashp Bapuna-Akshay Khetrapal pair played brilliantly to hand Sandeep Jain-Parheez Gimi an innings defeat in the ongoing sixth edition of Late Adv MK Naidu-Central Provinces Club Snicket Competition. Bapuna-Khetarpal recorded 222-50 one-sided win over their rivals. Potting first, Bapuna-Khetarpal duo scored 122 which included a single break of 45 points by Bapuna. Jain-Gimi were wayward and managed only 25 points thus facing a follow-on. Following-on Jain-Gimi again failed to score freely and managed only 25 points.

 

The winners got additional 100 for innings win taking. In another match, the pair of Siddharth Samel and Abhishek Mohta rallied to beat Saurabh Rai-Abhishek Thakur 237-134. Potting first, Samel- Mohta managed to score 73 while Rai-Thakur posted an impressive 112. However, Samel-Mohta demonstrated some interesting pots and scored 164 in the second innings to take the lead. Samel-Mohta could not handle the pressure and managed to pot only 22. A total of 60 players are participating in the league tournament.
