Ishwar Deshmukh, a former Nagpurian, who is working as a Senior Physical Education Teacher at Indian School Salalah, has successfully completed 54 kms walkathon organised in Oman, recently. Deshmukh. an alumnus of Post Graduate Teaching Department of Nagpur University, completed the walk from Salalah to Mughsail in just over eight hours (8.08.09s). The walkathon was organised in collaboration with Future Academy Sports, Life Line Hospital and Media One. School management congratulated Deshmukh for his feat.
