Uttarakhand has been awarded the ‘Best State Award’ in the category of Himalayan and North Eastern States by the National Fisheries Development Board, Hyderabad for its innovative experiments in the field of fisheries in the State. Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Panchayati Raj Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh at a ceremony held in New Delhi on the occasion of World Fisheries Day on Thursday.
