Expanding its presence in the international markets,
the city-based Solar Industries India Limited, recently, received a significant export contract worth Rs 2,039 crore for the
supply of defense products.
In a Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) filing, country’s one of the leading players in the defense and explosives sector, said, it would complete the deliveries under the purchase order in a span of next four years, marking a major milestone in the company’s international growth trajectory.
In a regulatory
filing, the company stated, “We are pleased to share that our company,
Solar Industries India Limited and its subsidiary have
received export orders worth Rs 2,039 crore for the supply of defense products, to be delivered over a period of
four years.”
This contract is one of the largest defense export orders for Solar Industries India Limted which reflects the growing global demand for the company’s products.
While the company has not disclosed specific details

Last month, Solar Industries India Limited reported securing another export contract valued at Rs 399.4 crore, which must be executed within three years. Similar to the new order, the client and product details for this earlier deal were not revealed, likely due to the sensitive nature of the products. These back-to-back orders underscore the company’s expanding footprint in the international defense sector.
The substantial scale of these contracts highlights Solar Industries’ growing role in supporting global defense supply chains.
The four-year delivery timeline for the latest order
also indicates the strategic nature of this partnership, potentially involving critical defense systems.
