The children’s drama festival ‘Bar Darbar’ organised by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Nagpur Kendra, wrapped up its five-day run on Thursday with a series of thought-provoking performances. The plays were staged at Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Auditorium in Civil Lines. On the final day, budding artists set the stage alive with themes of motherhood, family values, patriotism, and humanity, leaving the audience inspired. The day started with a tribute to the selfless journey of mothers.
 
The play celebrated mothers’ sacrifices, love, and relentless commitment to their children’s well-being. Next, the spotlight shifted to the wisdom and warmth of the elderly, echoing on the importance of joint families over nuclear ones. The characters showcased irreplaceable role of family bonds. One of the stories promoted peace and harmony, and depicted that humanity is the origin of all the values. Another performace dealt wilth the issue of child labour and childhood trauma followed, the characters aptly expressed the grief and encouraged education and equality. The young talents were evaluated by a panel of judged by Sarang Maste, Bhagyashree Chitnis and Mayuri Tingle.
