 The annual function Euphoria 2024 was held at Shri Gujrati English Medium School Devendra Nagar. The function was a vibrant celebration of India’s rich cultural diversity. The event showcased a mesmerising array of dance performances, each depicting the unique cultural heritage and traditions of different states. In addition to the cultural performances, the students also presented dances that conveyed valuable life lessons, including the importance of true friendship, the significance of parental love and guidance, and many more. The event was a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering not only academic excellence but also emotional intelligence and social awareness. Chinmoy Davara was present as the Chief guest while Director General Dr Charmi Davara was present as the guest of honour. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest. President of Shri Gujrati Shikshan Samiti Ramji Bhai Patel, President of Schoo Executive Committee Narayan Bhai Patel and other dignitaries were present. School Principal Dr Shailesh Sharma read out the school annual report and underlined the landmark achievements which the school has achieved in this current academic session. The students showcased their exceptional talent through a series of captivating performances, including folk dances, classical dances, and contemporary presentations. The highlight of the evening was a dramatic presentation on the theme of friendship and care for parents, which conveyed a powerful message about the importance of moral values in life. The programme also featured a scintillating display of music, with students performing on various instruments and singing melodious songs under the guidance of music maetro Vijay Shankar Jha and his music team. The chief guest congratulated the students on their outstanding performances and encouraged them to continue pursuing their passions. Cultural In-charge Shayanti Bhattacharya proposed the vote of thanks. Overall, the annual function Euphoria 2024 was a resounding success, showcasing the talent, creativity, and dedication of the students and staff of the school.
