DEVENDRA Fadnavis, Chief Minister Maharashtra, will be chief guest of the Maha Metro Nagpur Marathon to be organised on January 5, 2025 in Nagpur. The venue for the event is Institute of Science College, Opposite Press Club, Civil Lines, Nagpur. Over 5000 conditioned athletes and runners from all walks of life across the country will be participating in the marathon. The marathon is planned in the following categories: 3kms, 5kms, 10kms, 21kms, 42kms.

 

The start time and cut off times of different races are as follows: 42kms: 03:00 am. (Race cut off time: 06:30 hours); 21kms: 06:00 am. (Race cut off time: 03:30 hours); 10kms: 06:30 am. (Race cut off time: 02:00 hours); 05kms: 06:45 am. (Race cut off time: 01:00 hours); 03kms: 07:00 am. (Race cut off time: 00:30 mins). It will be a 2-day event with Day 1 (Jan 4, 2025) as Marathon Expo Day and Day 2 (Jan 5, 2025) as the Marathon Race Day. Trophies and other attractive prizes are in store for the winners in various categories. All the participants will be given a Marathon T-shirt, Participation Certificate, a Finishers Medal and refreshments after the race. Physical registration can be done at the Marathon at 2nd Floor, ‘Nakshatra’, 377, Gandhi Nagar, North Ambazari Road, Nagpur between 11:00am and 6:00pm. The last date of registration is December 30.
