Vocational training centres, especially those involving computers and technology, help enhance skills and provide individuals with the tools they need to improve their careers and economic opportunities.
Rotary’s efforts in vocational training directly support the development of local communities, and this type of initiative aligns with the goals of improving education, providing employment skills, and enhancing the economic self-sufficiency of individuals,” said Vaishali Kedar, while inaugurating the computer laboratory initiative by Rotary Club of Nagpur Downtown (RCND) at Dhapewada. RCND in association with Mahyco Pvt Ltd has started a Computer Training Centre at Kolba Swami School and Junior College, Dhapewada. Computer Lab comprising 30 desktops worth Rs 10 lakhs will provide computer training to youths.
This Training centre will help the youth from Dhapewada and nearby areas in learning basics of Computers, Operating system Windows, MS Office, Excel etc. MKCL courses like MHCIT will also be taught here which will help create job opportunities for the youths.
President RCND Dr Pratiksha Mayee, Secretary Mrudula Sudame, Directors Ravindra Paranjape and Jagdish Lanjewar were present on the occasion and worked hard for the success
of the programme.
