Man slits daughter’s throat, throws in bushes assuming her dead, girl survives

The 30-year-old man who was arrested on charges of attempting to kill his daughter, had also murdered the girl’s mother two years ago. The 8-year-old girl survived the attempt on her life and what she told police, left them surprised. The girl told that the accused slit his throat and he was saying that he would kill her the way he had killed her mother. The accused told the police that he had also killed the girl’s mother two years ago. The special thing about the whole case is that the girl’s mother was killed on 29 January 2022. On this very date an attempt was made to murder the daughter also.

Besides, the area where the mother’s body was thrown, the daughter was also thrown but she had survived the attempt and is now undergoing treatment. After which the police is now also investigating the angle of Tantra Mantra. DCP Riyaz Iqbal said that on Tuesday morning people informed that someone had left an innocent child in a bloody condition in the bushes of Saifiya College Ground around the Milam Hall. The girl herself had come out of the bushes while bleeding profusely. She had called for help and rushed to hospital by the locals with help of police. The girl told in her statements that her father Tej Singh Lodhi took her with him asking her to go to her relative’s house on Monday.

However, he took her to an isolated area and slit the girl’s throat. He then dumped her into bushes considering the girl to be dead in night. But, she survived as accused ran away after finding a vehicle approaching them. The girl herself came out of bushes while bleeding, said the Koh-e-fiza police. Her statements shocked the cops who then investigated the murder case of her mother and then quizzed the accused in connection with that murder. Lodhi initially tried to mislead the police but then he spilled the beans during interrogation. Lodhi lives in a rented house in Tila Jamalpura area of the city. He is originally from Sagar. The minor is the daughter of Lodhi’s first wife who was murdered two years ago. Lodhi lives here with his second wife with whom he has a son. DCP said that the accused told about killing his first wife Sangeeta aka Anita aka Kannu two years ago by crushing her head with a stone. He doubted her fidelity and thus he killed her, said the accused.
