Thursday morning saw fog in State capital Bhopal, Gwalior and other 12 districts. Cloud cover was seen in Rewa and Sagar divisions and day temperature remained below normal mark in most of cities. As wind is bringing moisture, droplets and drizzling was recorded in a few areas including Sidhi district. Weather scientists said that current weather system has passed away due to which temperature is expected to dip down by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. Raisen and Vidisha districts recorded dense for on Thursday and visibility remained limited to 20 to 30 meters.
 
According to Indian Meteorology Department, Bhopal (IMD) informed that cyclonic appearance is above Marathwada division of Maharashtra and a turf lone is also passing due to which rainfall activity is there in some parts of Madhya Pradesh. Scientists said that local cyclonic appearance is around Rewa division in Madhya Pradesh due to which weather is changing. Southern wind is active due to which moisture is coming along with the air.
 
On February 14, Rewa, Satna and Khajuraho remained the coldest city in Madhya Pradesh. Day temperature in Rewa was recorded as 23.4 degrees Celsius, Satna 23.6 degrees Celsius and Khajuraho 23.8 degrees Celsius. Naugaon and Pachmarhi also recorded day temperature below 25 degrees Celsius. Seoni, Betul, Dhar, Mandla, Khandwa and Khargone recorded above normal mark temperature around 29 degrees Celsius while Khargone recorded day temperature as 31.8 degrees Celsius. Top four cities of Madhya Pradesh recorded temperature as Bhopal 27 degrees Celsius, Indore 27.2 degrees Celsius, Gwalior 25.9 degrees Celsius, Jabalpur 24 degrees Celsius and Ujjain 28.7 degrees.
