Main examination of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for class X began on Monday with Sanskrit paper amid tight security at various centers across the city. The board had started some papers for class X and XII board on February 15, but the main papers were started on February 19. The board has made wide arrangements to conduct the exam in a peaceful manner in presence of flying squads. According to CBSE schedule, exams for class X will be concluding on March 13 while class XII will be ending on April 2. CBSE class X exam is being held in offline (pen-paper mode). Students have been informed about the date sheet about a month back so that they can make preparation as per schedule.

 

Class X students will be appearing for Hindi paper on February 21. English will be held on February 26, Science on March 2. Home Science is scheduled for March 4 followed by social science on March 7. The last two exams are mathematics on March 11 and Information Technology on March 13. According to CBSE date sheet, class XII main exams would commence on February 22 with English paper followed by Chemistry on February 27, Physics on March 4, Mathematics on March 9, Physical Education on March 12, biology March 19, Computer Science in April.
