President of Association of Coaching Institutes (ACI) Rajanikant Bondre on Friday said that Government’s recently guidelines for coaching classs would adversly affect the students and end up in paralyzing the otherwise smoothly operating education system in India. “ It will also lead to utter chaos which may lead to confusion and uncertainty amongst its beneficiaries viz. students and parents,” he said addressing a press conference. The central Government has recently issued guidelines to regulate coaching classes. “On going through the same it can be said that these guidelines are issued without proper thought process,” he said.

The coaching classes is a naturally evolved parallel education system catering to the students appearing for entrance examinations like JEE, NEET, CA, CS etc., as the coaching for these examinations is not provided in the schools / colleges who are catering to board syllabus only,” he pointed out. The provisions of these guidelines are very stringent and impracticable and hence difficult to comply with, he said. “The New Educational Policy (NEP) discourages the requirement of coaching classes. The the schools and colleges are not equipped to handle the entrance exam syllabus. In spite of this lacuna Government wants to discourage the coaching, which will lead to utter confusion in the entire education system and it will lead to spoiling of careers students, highlighted the ACI. Shyam Shendre, Executive Member of ACI; Virag Mitkari, Secretary; and Dr Manoj, Joint Secretary were also present on the occasion.
