With the western disturbance sets in, weather experts have predicted rainfall in 60 per cent area of Madhya Pradesh for next three days. Indian Meteorology Department has predicted three days rainfall in 29 districts including Bhopal, Jabalpur, Rewa, Sagar, Shahdol and Narmadapuram. There is also prediction for hail storm in ten districts including Narmadapuram and Jabalpur division. On Saturday cloud cover was seen in Gwlaior, Indore and Ujjain division. However there is no rainfall prediction in these areas. There are chances of one or two degree fall in day temperature. IMD, Bhopal senior scientists Dr Ved Prakash Singh said western disturbance and turf line active above Madhya Pradesh while cyclonic circulation is around Chhattisgarh. He said moisture is coming from Bay of Bengal and there is anti-cyclonic circulation in north of Bay of Bengal.
 
All these situation is creating rainfall and hail storm system in eastern part of Madhya Pradesh. For February 25, IMD has predicted light rainfall in Jabalpur, Chindwara, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Betul, Narmadapuram, Burhanpur areas. For February 26, rainfall is predicted for Rewa, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Narmadapuram, Bhopal and Indore. There are also chances of hail storm in Mandla, Dindori, Narsinghpur, Anupur, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Betul, Chindwara, Seoni and Balaghat. For February 27, IMD has predicted rainfall in eastern- northern part including Sagar,, Narsinghpur, Chindwara, Damoh, Jabalpur, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Umaria, Katni, Shahdol, Anupur, Sidhi, Singrauli, Rewa and Mauganj. Thunder and lightning is predicted in Guna, Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Betul, Tikamgarh , Niwari, Chatarpur, Panna and Satna.
 
Maximum temperature in Bhopal was recorded as 27 degree Celsius, Indore 27.4 degree Celsius, Gwalior 26.6 degree Celsius, Jabalpur 26.7 degree Celsius and Ujjain 28.5 degree Celsius. Shivpuri, Naugaon, Sagar, Chindwara, Khajuraho, Guna, Satna and Malajkhand recorded day temperature below 28 degree Celsius. Mandla, Ratlam, Narmadapuram, Khandwa and Khargone recorded day temperature around 30 degree Celsius.
