TEAM Khetan and Jai Shree Ram Warriors recorded wins over their respective rivals in the opening round matches of the Bhartiya Agrawal Ekta Club’s Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament which got under way on Saturday morning at Vasant Nagar ground. In the first match, Khetan XI defeated Agrawal Kings by seven wickets. Rishabh Khetan was the star performer for Khetan XI as he scored 56 runs of 34 balls. Agrawal Kings scored 91 for 3 in 10 overs which Khetan XI achieved in 9.1 overs losing three wickets. In another match, Jai Shree Ram Warriors defeated BAEC Tigers by 36 runs. Abhijit Agrawal of Jai Shree Ram Warriors scored 66 runs of 29 balls.

 

BAEC Tigers managed to score 95 for 6 in allotted 10 overs thus losing the match. Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by Ramesh Bansal of NOVAsys Group, Gopal Agrawal from R Sandesh Group, CA Amit A Agrawal from AAA Group, Arush Ajay Agrawal from Nakshatra Asset Ventures Limited, Sameer Agrawal from I-Concept Interiors, Farid Sheikh from CARE Hospital and Sushil Narad from Zero B. Pramod Agrawal, Prakash Agrawal, CA Sanjay C Agrawal, Girish Liladiya, Sachin Agrawal, CA Savinay Agrawal, Sanjay S Agrawal, Lalit Khetan, Bhupendra Agrawal, Ashok Goyal, Shambu Tekriwal, Rajesh Modi, Sandeep Chapparia, Tushar Agrawal, Shailendra Agrawal, Sandeep Agrawal and Rajesh D Agrawal also graced the occasion.
