For experiencing the amazing products of cotton, silk, handloom made by master craftsmen from all over India displayed in 80 stalls of different states of India, one has to visit the Cotton & Silk Exhibition cum sale at South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Civil Lines , opp. MLA Hostel in the city between 11.00 am and 9.00 pm.
The expo started on January 20, and will remain open till February 5.

The participants are directly selling their products at the lowest costs directly to the customers and the customers can get authentic and exclusive products and promote these artisans coming from all over the country. The products on display are exclusive and attractive silk and cotton sarees, dress materials, suits, stoles, dupattas, kurtas and kurties along with fashion
jewellery and artifacts for home décor.
The regional and state’s specialties include a host of varieties like Bhagalpuri Tassar, Kosa and Khadi Silk of Bihar, Lucknow Chikan, Jamdani and of course Banarasi Silk from Uttar Pradesh, Chanderi and Maheshwari Silk of MP Patola, Bandhini and Kutch embroidery from Gujarat, while Rajasthan presents Bandhei, block print and Sanganeri print. In addition to this, there are others items too.
