DATTA Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research (DMIHER), Deemed to be University (DU) will be starting the ‘Simulation Instructor Development Course’, a pioneering initiative crafted in partnership with the world-renowned Mayo Clinic USA, top-ranked healthcare organisation. This hallmark event is scheduled to take place from February 5 to 8, 2024, at the DMIHER (DU) campus in Wardha, marking a significant milestone in the realm of medical education. This was revealed by Dr Vedprakash Mishra, Pro-Chancellor while speaking at a press conference on Saturday. Dr Sandeep Shrivastava, Executive Director of DMIHER Global, Dr Aditya Kekatpure, Deputy Director DMIHER Global, and others were present.
 
The faculties of Mayo Clinic included Usha Asirvatham, Kris Neil and Jessica Schoen were also present at the conference. Dr Mishra said, “Under this initiative, bringing the Mayo Instructor Course to Central India for the first time, is a testament to DMIHER’s resolve to import premier training to the region for augmentation of the regional profile in the domain of capacity building”. “It promises an exceptional learning journey for 21 chosen participants from local and national spheres, under tutelage of the esteemed Mayo Clinic Faculty,” Dr Mishra said.
