For the past 9 years, Devta Life Foundation, a non governmental organisation (NGO), has been working for the kids below 12 years who are suffering from cancer. The NGO also organises various event for these affected kids throughout the year. World Cancer Day is observed on February 4. TO mark the occasion the NGO recently conducted a special programme at Sitaram Bhawan, Ram Nagar Chowk for the cancer patients (kids). The organisers gave nutritious food to the kids and guided them. Entertainment and other events were also held. Director of the NGO Nilima Bawane and others were present. The foundation was established to promote welfare activities aimed at the alleviation of human suffering and overall amelioration of society especially for the poor.
